Zach Davidson is a 2021 NFL Draft Prospect

Zach Davidson is a tight end and punter from Central Missouri (Webb City H.S.) and prospect for the 2021 NFL Draft. Davidson was named to five Division 2 All-American 1st teams in 2019, and his program did not play in 2020. He is Central Missouri’s record-holder for touchdowns by a tight end in single season. In 2019, Davidson led all Division 2 Tight Ends in both yards and touchdowns.

His stat line includes 51 receptions, 1,133 yards and 18 touchdowns for his career. In 2019 alone, he had 40 receptions, 894 yards and 15 touchdowns—good for seventh in all of Division 2. As a punter all three years of his college career, Davidson averaged 42.4 yds across 137 career kicks.

  • True end zone target, showcasing ability to go up and secure the ball at its highest point.
  • Good head/should fakes prior to changing direction on intermediate routes.
  • Adjusts well to bring in throws below waist.
  • Good character and leader.


  • Willing but sometimes incapable blocker at the Division 2 level, purely a receiver at NFL level.
  • Occasional off rep on short and intermediate routes—needs more polish as route runner.
