Wildcard Weekend is Here! Who will be in Your DraftKings lineups?

NFL playoffs are a go and first up is Wildcard weekend! There are two triple headers on both Saturday and Sunday. Starting off the Saturday slate we have the Colts and Bills, Rams and Seahawks, and finally, the Buccaneers traveling to Washington. The Bills at home versus the Colts have the highest point total set at 51.5. Tampa is giving the most points at eight to WFT. Time to review a sample DraftKings wildcard Saturday slate lineup.

Josh Allen ($7500) – The Colts rank 26th against opposing quarterbacks. Allen is scoring an average of 27.3 FPPG. He has put up over 30 points in three of his last five games.

Chris Carson ($5900) – Carson has nine touchdowns in 12 games. This includes four receiving touchdowns. Carson has been limited by injury over the last few weeks. However, he has at least 13 touches in his last five games. In Week 16, he carried 16 times for 69 yards and added three receptions versus this Rams defense. Carson just needs a touchdown to go with these stats.

Cam Akers ($5100) – On to the opposite starting running back in this game. Akers has been the lead back, (when healthy) in four straight games. Akers has 25 touches in two of his last three games. The Seahawks rank 15th against opposing running backs. No matter who ends up as the quarterback for the Rams, Akers will get his volume.

Stefon Diggs ($7700) – If you are using Allen, then you better pair him up with Diggs. The duo together combined to lead the league in targets, receptions, and yards for all pass catchers. Diggs is scoring an average of 21.8 FPPG this season.

Terry McLaurin ($6300) – Tampa ranks near the bottom in terms of allowing wide receivers to score on them. This is in part as their rush defense is so strong. They have allowed almost 270 passing yards a game to go with only 80 rushing yards per game. The WFT offense should have to throw in this game, to keep pace. McLaurin grabbed seven catches in each of his previous two games.

John Brown ($4700) – Throwing in another Bills receiver is not a bad thing. In his first game back off injury, Brown did not miss a step. He caught all four of his targets for 72 yards and a score. In addition, he has at least 72 receiving yards in three straight games.

Logan Thomas ($4900) – For the same reason as McLaurin, Thomas should be a big factor in WFT’s passing game. He has scored over 10 FPPG in six straight games. Furthermore, this includes 42 receptions and three touchdowns.

Nyheim Hines ($4700) – Both Colts running backs are in play as the Bills rank 23rd against them. However, for this lineup build, Hines was the only one to make the cut. Because of his cheap salary, and his productivity in the passing game, he will be heavily used. Even with Taylor finally becoming the #1 back everyone expected, Hines still has double-digit points in five of his last six games. With the Colts potentially playing from behind, Hines may add to his 3rd best, 64 receptions for running backs.

Rams ($2900) – Normally playing the Seahawks is not a good thing for defenses. That being said though, they have only scored over 25 points in two of their last six games. Wilson has also been sacked 46 times this season, the 3rd most amongst quarterbacks.

Good luck with your DraftKings Saturday Wildcard lineups!
