There is a lot on the line in “The Battle of Ohio.”

Two Heisman Trophy winners, Baker Mayfield and Joe Burrow will meet on Thursday Night Football. Both the Bengals and the Browns are looking to rebound from a disappointing Week 1 of the season in “The Battle of Ohio.” The Browns played a terrible game on Sunday against the Ravens. There were very few things done well by the Browns. The Bengals had a heart breaking loss to the Chargers on a missed game-tying kick.

Keys to the game

One of the biggest factors in this Thursday Night game will be if the Browns offense can fix the problems from Week 1. The offense of the Browns struggled against the Ravens defense. They will look to get Austin Hooper and Odell Beckham Jr. involved early. The Browns will also look to establish the running game early, behind Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

The Bengals offense look good at times Sunday, but they still had problems on their offensive line. That is an area where the Browns can put the pressure. The defensive line of the Cleveland Browns is one of the best in the NFL. Myles Garrett, Oliver Veron, Larry Ogunjobi, and Sheldon Richardson will look to cause a lot of problems for Joe Burrow in Week 2.

The kicking situations for both teams will be interesting as well. The Browns cut Austin Seibert after missing a Field Goal and Extra point in Week 1. The Bengals kicker Randy Bullock had an injury to his leg at the end of the game against the Chargers, causing him to miss a game tying Field Goal. Seibert has been picked up by the Bengals to help Cincinnati on Thursday. Cody Parkey has been elevated off of the Practice Squad by the Browns to kick on Thursday Night Football.
