DRAFTKINGS NFL Showdown Captain Mode Thursday Night Football for week eight. Cardinals versus Seahawks, who do you have as you Captain?

It’s Thursday Night Football and we have a special contest for you on DRAFTKINGS. The NFL Showdown Captain Mode has the Arizona Cardinals at the Seattle Seahawks! The spread has the home team Seahawks giving three points with a game total of 57. In this game on DRAFTKINGS, you draft six players with a salary of $50, 000. The main difference is you have a Captain! Their salary is 1.5X more than normal but gives you 1.5X more points. In conclusion, building a lineup in this format is tricky, so be careful on who you select as your Captain, as it may drain your salary cap quick! Here is a potential lineup I will be using tonight:

David Moore ($7200) is going to be my Captain tonight! He has been a steady contributor through the year. Moore has scored four times and with Tyler Lockett banged up, he may see some extra looks from Wilson making him a potential big play tonight! Plus I need the salary cap for my next three picks!

First up, Kyler Murray ($13000) is definitely in play here. Murray leads the league in scoring, including 17 passing and ten rushing touchdowns! Oh and did I mention the Seahawks defense is terrible? Yep, last in the league.

Next is the Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson ($11800). What a start to the year Wilson was having! He is though, arguably coming off his worst game of the year, when he threw zero TDs for the first time. That being said, he still leads the league with 28.

Now we have the man that everyone was talking about, with the potential catch of year! DeAndre Hopkins ($10800), 67 receptions for 861 yards and four touchdowns. Last time these two met, Hopkins grabbed ten of 11 targets for 103 yards and a score!

The only Running Back I am using is Carlos Hyde ($5200). Coming off an injury and looks to be the lead back tonight. His last action was against these same Cardinals, where he carried 15 times for 68 yards with a score. Mimic those numbers again tonight, and I will be happy.

Lastly, I have Freddie Swain ($1200) as my dumpster fire pick. Swain has seen approximately 20 snaps per game as a WR. He even had three catches last week! As long as I can get a few points here, that will pay off for his cheap salary! Good luck on TNF.
