DRAFTKINGS lineup and positional value plays for the classic nine player roster build for week six. Who do you have?

Week six is finally here! It took forever, as we did not have a Thursday game! We only have four games predicted to go over the 50 point total this week. Once you get into my article, you will see those are the match ups that I am targeting this week! However, I may slip in a player or two from a few different games. Time to take a peak at some positional value plays for the classic nine player lineup build on DRAFTKINGS.

QUARTERBACKS

This one is not my favorite pick, but Ben Roethlisberger ($6700) has some solid value. Facing the Cleveland Browns, who have given up the third most passing yards a game at 313.8. The stat that appeals the most though, is how tough it is to run on the Browns. They sit 4th against the rush.

Next up is Matthew Stafford ($6300), my QB start of the week. Going up against the Jacksonville Jaguars is a match up I want to exploit in my lineup. Over the last two weeks, they have allowed opposing QBs to throw for over 300 yards! Through four match ups, Stafford has thrown for 1000 yards and eight touchdowns.

My last play is Kirk Cousins ($6100). He plays the Atlanta Falcons, who rank 31st in passing yards and points against. Kirk has thrown for 250 a game with six touchdowns over the last three weeks.

RUNNING BACKS

Lets start with the “chalk” play of the week, Alexander Mattison ($7200). When Dalvin Cook went down with an injury, Mattison got his chance. He hit double digit carries, averaging 5.6 yards per carry for 112 yards. Over the last two weeks, the Falcons allowed opposing RB1s to have over 100 yards total to go along with a receiving touchdown.

Next in line is David Montgomery ($5800). He is a little risky as over the last three match ups he has averaged less then three yards a carry. Here in week six, he draws the Carolina Panthers, who have given up touchdowns to opposing RBs in every game this year.

Lastly, we have D’Andre Swift ($4500) against the Jaguars. In this potential shoot out, Swift could see a little more action than normal, especially in the passing game. The Jags rank 24th in points against and 26th against the run.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Next we are going to take advantage of some match ups again. Lets look at the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons match up. I am trying to build a lineup with both Calvin Ridley($7800) and Adam Thielen ($7300) as my #1 WR on the slate. This game should have plenty of fireworks with both teams averaging over 30 points a game and 280 passing yards against as well!

Another option from this game is Julio Jones ($6700). With no injury designation this week, you have to think he is healthy right? At the very least I believe he will have low ownership.

With Diontae Johnson out, Chase Claypool ($5200) becomes an option again this week. However, he will come with high ownership and buyer beware, he probably will not reproduce his week leading 45.6 points.

Tight Ends

Mark Andrews ($6500) is the play this week if you can afford him. The Philadelphia Eagles have struggled with the TE position allowing over 30 receptions in the first five games of the season. Andrews has scored five times this year and should find the end zone again in this matchup.

Time for the dumpster dive of the week, Trey Burton ($3100). With Mo-Alie Cox listed OUT, Burton should receive even more opportunities. Since returning from injury, he has been targeted 11 times over the last two games and here he faces the Cincinnati Bengals who rank 21st against the TE position so far in 2020.

DST

If your not paying up for the Baltimore Ravens ($4500), then I would be throwing in the Miami Dolphins ($2900) in your lineup. With Joe Flacco at the helm, the Dolphins should be able to cause a few turnovers and create plenty of pressure as Flacco is not known for escaping the pockets cleanly. The Dolphins will be in all of my build this week. Good luck in week six!
