Let’s take a peek at some players I will be using for this triple header Saturday!

The only QB I am really looking at is Tom Brady ($6800) on the road versus Detroit. Brady has been a better QB on the road, averaging over 300 passing yards to go with 17 TDs. Brady also has only thrown two picks as the visitor versus nine while at home. The Lions rank 28th against opposing QBs.

First up is Leonard Fournette ($5500) who also gets a good matchup with the 31st ranked Lions defense. With Ronald Jones looking doubtful, Fournette is a volume-based play. Last week he ran it 14 times and was targeted five times. He found the end zone twice and scored 21.5 points.

Next is the Miami Dolphins backfield. It looks like Miles Gaskin ($5300) will be playing. When he is active he only has two games, that he does not have double-digit carries. The Dolphins will lean on Gaskins against this 28th ranked defense from Las Vegas. Salvon Ahmed ($5600) will also have to be considered. When Gaskin was out, Ahmed carried the load for Miami. He had 23 carries for 122 yards and a score. Keep an eye on the updates as we get closer to game time.

Last is the most expensive back on the slate, Josh Jacobs ($6600). The stats say this will be a tough matchup for Jacobs and the run game, as Miami ranks 8th versus opposing RBs. However, they have been allowing the 14th most rushing yards per game at 120. Maybe Jacobs squeezes in the end zone in this pivotal AFC matchup.

Deandre Hopkins ($8300) has to be the top play of the triple header. He has at least eight receptions in three straight games. The 49ers rank 13th against WRs, however, in Week one, Hopkins lit them up. He caught 14 of 16 targets for 151 yards.

On the opposite side of the field, Brandon Aiyuk ($6700) is playing lights out. The Cardinals rank 24th against opposing WRs and will have their troubles covering Aiyuk. He has scored at least 19 fantasy points in six straight games.

All three of the Tampa Bay receivers are in play to stack up with Brady. Mike Evans ($6100), Chris Godwin ($6000), and Antonio Brown ($5300) will have opportunities as the Lions pass defense are allowing over 275 yards a game. Who will have the better game? Well, take your pick, but the one you select will more than likely depend on your lineup build.

Finally, Marvin Jones ($4900) will have to be considered. The volume is there, as he has 12 targets in his last three of four games. Tampa will stop the Lions’ run attack. This will force them to throw the ball down the field. Tampa’s pass defense ranks 29th versus WRs.

Even though Darren Waller ($7000) faces the 7th ranked defense versus TEs, lineups should try and include him if possible on the triple-header slate. Waller is scoring over 17 PPG and has at least ten targets in three straight games. In that span, he has scored 33, 14.5, and 48 respectively. The potential is too high to leave him on your bench.

The rest of the tight end slate is not the best. If you’re not paying up for Waller then you’re paying up at the WR position. If that’s the case then you need a few cheaper plays. You can definitely throw a dart at T.J. Hockenson ($4600). Besides his lackluster performance in Week 15, he did have four straight games of 10 or more points.

Other cheaper options include Rob Gronkowski ($3600) and Dan Arnold ($3200).  Although you pretty much will require a touchdown from these plays, if you want any chance at the million-dollar prize.

I believe there are only three options to use here for the Saturday slate. The Dolphins ($4000) are scoring 9.6 FPPG while the Raiders offense ranks 16th in scoring. Tampa is just behind scoring an average of 7.3 FPPG and then the Cardinals are the wild card. The 49ers rank 28th in scoring and the Cardinals’ cheaper salary may bring them in as the most preferred option.

QB – Brady ($6800)

RB – Fournette ($5500)

RB – Gaskin ($5300)

WR – Hopkins ($8300)

WR – Brown ($5300)

WR – Jones ($4900)

TE – Waller ($7000)

FLEX – Gronkowski ($3600)

DST – Cardinals ($3300)

Good luck in the DraftKings Saturday Triple Header!
