The progression of the Colts offensive line over the last few seasons has been nothing short of miraculous. Led by Notre Dame standout Quenton Nelson, who was rated the highest graded left guard by Pro Football Focus last season, the Colts offensive line had five starters log over 1,000 snaps. Anthony Castonzo and Ryan Kelly also played exceptional last year. Braden Smith was somewhat inconsistent, but is still young and is making strides. If any spot needs upgrading this season,  it’s right guard. There are several draft options that could improve the right side of the line. LSU’s Lloyd Cushenberry and Damien Lewis could be potential fits. St. John’s Ben Batch is a small school, big bodied guard oozing with potential that could also help bump this line from exceptional to elite. Look for the Colts to continue pounding the rock behind this nasty offensive line in 2020.
