Steelers vs Giants and Titans vs Broncos. Find out the best bets for Monday night football to sink your teeth into

Its the first Monday night football of the season and we have been blessed with a double bill. The Pittsburgh Steelers are traveling to New York to face the Giants. The Tennessee Titans are going to the Denver to take on a young exciting Bronco’s side. This double header will certainly be something for us all to sink our teeth into and win some money.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs New York Giants

The Pittsburgh Steelers had an average season, by their standards and they will be looking to improve. They did have excuses though due to the amount of injuries they suffered and all their players are back and fit. Ben Roethlisberger and James Conner missed most of last season and that will make a big impact. Roethlisberger has had elbow surgery and is looking good to go, while Connor is fit and hoping to get back to his 2018 form.

The Steelers have got a good set of wide receivers in Juju Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson and James Washington. Juju had a down year last season but with Big Ben back for this season you would expect better. Johnson had a great rookie year last season and will hope to keep that going. Also, Eric Ebron has come in from Indianapolis and will be a solid tight end option. Defensively, they are one of the best in the league and will win a lot of games because of it.

The New York Giants are had a poor year last season finishing with a 4-12 record. They have got Daniel Jones as quarterback for his second season, hoping he can build on a solid rookie year. Jones is one for the future and will rely on star running back Saquon Barkley to move the chains. The Giants also have a good young tight end in Evan Engram who if he remains fit will be a vital part in attack.

The Giants have got some solid wide receivers but nothing spectacular. Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton and Golden Tate are capable of making plays and they will need to. Defensively, the Giants are not in great shape and finished 26th out of 32 but will need to improve.

The Bet

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a great defense and will cause a lot of problems for Daniel Jones. With Big Ben back you can see the Steelers getting an early lead and then trying to run down the clock. The New York Giants defense is not good and struggles against the run, especially at home.

With that in mind, sink your teeth into this bet: James Conner to score a touchdown anytime at 10/11. Conner had a poor year last season due to injury but was the seventh best running back in 2018. He had 12 rushing touchdowns then and will do well now he is back and healthy.

Tennessee Titans vs Denver Broncos

The Tennessee Titans had a really good year last season despite losing out in the AFC championship game. With Ryan Tannehill coming in under centre they looked a much more attacking threat. Tannehill has signed a new $80m contract and the Titans will be hoping for similar results. Along with Tannehill the Titans have signed up star running back Derrick Henry. Henry is the main weapon in this offense and the likelihood is he will be the main guy again this year.

At wide receiver they have got one of the most promising guys in the game in A.J Brown. Brown had a great rookie year last season finishing with 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns. The Titans will be expecting similar things this year as he is the clear number one receiving target for Tannehill. They also have Corey Davis and Adam Humphries as depth but Brown is the guy. Also the Titans have a good up and coming tight end in Jonnu Smith who will help out. Defensively, the Titans are decent and will be a massive help to Tannehill and the offense.

The Denver Broncos have been  in a transitional phase since they last won the Super Bowl in 2016. They have chopped and changed at quarterback ever since Peyton Manning retired but now they have picked Drew Lock. Lock had a good end to the season last year but he hasn’t played enough games to of proved his talent. However, the Broncos back room have given him loads of weapons to succeed. They traded for Melvin Gordon and have Phillip Lindsey as their running backs.

At wide receiver the broncos have a very exciting group of young talents. Cortland Sutton will be hoping to expand on his rookie year after finishing as the 17th best receiver. They also went out and drafted Jerry Jeudy and K.J Hamler who both look like they will become good receivers. At tight end Noah Fant had a good rookie year last season and will hope to improve on that. Defensively, the Broncos are not the team of 2016 but they still have good players. However, the end of season injury to Von Miller is a massive blow for them.

The Bet.

The Broncos look like they could become a very good side but it will take time for the rookies to adjust. Drew Lock needs this season to prove that he is the guy and Jerry Jeudy and K.J Hamler have not played a snap yet. The Titans are a much more experienced team and with the power of Derrick Henry will be to much for the Broncos. Therefore, the bet has to be the Tennessee Titans to win at 5/8, an easy one to sink your teeth into.

If you put both bets together in a double then you will be looking at just over 2/1.
