In early January, the New York Giants announced that Joe Judge will become the 19th coach in franchise history. Judge has spent 11 years under two of the most successful coaches in football history in Nick Saban and Bill Belichick and knows what it takes to win a championship. At the NFL combine however he had a simple message for his new players.

At the Combine Judge said, “Every one of our players is going to come here with a blank slate and be able to compete from the ground up from day one”.

While the Giants are coming off of a disappointing season, Judge inherits a team with some talent including, Daniel Jones, Sterling Shepard, Evan Ingram, and Saquon Barkley. While they need a difference-maker defensively, the offense has potential if everyone can stay healthy. Last year

Judge also emphasized that in order for this team to be successful they have to build on each players strength. He wants everyone to have the same opportunity which will only make for an intresting training camp.

While the regular season is still months away, the Giants head coach is already creating a competitive culture around his new team.
