Lane Johnson claims he is going to play during press conference

The Philadelphia Eagles were without a couple of their stars last Sunday against the Washington Football Team. Although they held their own for the first half of the game, the protection started to break down drastically. News broke that Lane has came out saying he is going to play, but will not be 100%. A lot of fans disagree and would like him to get 100% healthy rather risking it.

Lane Johnson being available will help subside the force brought by Aaron Donald.

Jack Driscoll A lot to build on after first career start

Jack Driscoll looked nothing short of impressive in his debut with the Eagles. He got the early start because of Lane Johnson’s Injury, and did his part. It will be interesting to see if the Eagles coaching staff could find a role for him this Sunday if he is able to stay healthy.

Miles Sanders fully hopping back into action

After being held out of last weeks contest, it is finally looking like the Eagles star back will be back on the field. The Penn State product has prepared all offseason to be the every down back this year. With Miles Sanders missing in action last week, it is evident that the Eagles game plan wasn’t prepared for him to be sidelined. Although he is a nifty runner, they drastically missed his pass blocking ability as well. Let’s hope that the star is able to play this week against the Los Angeles Rams.

22 Carries 103 yards rushing

6 catches 41 yards and a receiving touchdown

Derek Barnett set to make season debut on Sunday

Derek Barnett who missed last game due to injury, is looking to finally get back out on the field against the Rams this week. This should be exciting to fans since he adds extra depth to the defensive end rotation.

News broke that Javon Hargrave will make debut on Sunday

News broke earlier in the week that it was unlikely for Hargrave to make his debut against the Rams, however he appeared as a full participant on Fridays injury report. The Eagles have their three-headed monster between Hargrave, Jackson, and Cox ready to go sooner than expected. A lot to be excited about since this is Hargrave’s first game as a Philadelphia Eagle.

Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz undefeated against Sean McVay

Doug Pederson has won the last two contests against Sean McVay in Las Vegas. The Rams have been a solid organization since McVay took over as the head coach, even bringing them to the Super Bowl early in his career. The Eagles and Doug Pederson also had their early success, winning the Super Bowl in his second season. Even with all of the injuries the Eagles have endured, they still managed to be 2-0 against Sean McVay and look to continue that trend this week as well.

Carson Wentz – 24/35 289 yards 3 TD 0 INT

Nate Herbig starting at Right Guard ?

News broke recently that the rookie RG Nate Herbig is going to start this Sunday against the Rams. With how impressive he looked in his debut, this seems to be really exciting news for the rookie. A lot of Eagles fans thought that Matt Pryor would’ve been the guy to step in, but this might be a good sign that the Eagles did well by drafting Driscoll.

With the Eagles looking much healthier, they seem ready to go against the LA Rams this week.

Score prediction:  PHI- 37  LAR- 31
