Draft Kings Top plays and analysis for week 4

Hopefully you enjoyed my entry level basics into DRAFTKINGS earlier this week, but most importantly you remembered that I mentioned the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns game as a match I would be targeting. In other words, get these players in your line ups!  If you already built lineups that included Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans players, please ensure you remove them, as they are now on a bye this week due to Covid test results. Again, remember to play contests that fit your style. Likewise, for beginners, stick to “cash” games as well as single entry contests. The recommendations that I am giving you today are for the Sunday Main Slate. Just in case you forgot, the Sunday Slate only includes games played Sunday which do not include the Sunday night match up. So lets get to it.

QUARTERBACKS

I am paying up this week to get a top QB. Russell Wilson, ($7800) through three games has 14 touchdowns and is tied as the #1 scoring QB in the league. He faces the Miami Dolphins, who have given up 282 passing yards against per game. To make matters worst, Dolphins CB Byron Jones is not expected to play, giving Wilson even more opportunities.  Dak Prescott, ($7200) faces the Cleveland Browns. This game total is set for 56 points. The Browns have only given up an average of 94 yards on the ground, so the Cowboys pass attack looks ready to roll. Prescott leads the league with 1188 yards. Deshaun Watson, ($6600) has averaged 264 yards through the air and faces off against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have given up the second most points and third most passing yards against. Watson should be a top performer this week.

RUNNING BACKS

Alvin Kamara ($8000), is a must start without Michael Thomas or Jared Cook. Kamara has caught 27 balls through three games! Just reminding you, he is a running back and should see plenty of volume here against the Detroit Lions.  Next up is James Robinson($6500), who will be in all of my lineups. The Bengals have allowed opposing teams to run 181 yards per game. Give me some of that! Mike Davis, ($5700) is very much in play with 16 catches over the last two games. The volume is there and for full point PPR I will take it.  Carlos Hyde, ($5300) was my value of the week. The injury report is starting to make me nervous, but if he is the starter and Carson is out, then its all systems go.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Pairs are the theme this week! Seattle Seahawks duo Tyler Lockett ($7000) and D.K. Metcalf ($6800) are both in play. Flip a coin or get both in, as they both should finish top 15 in week four.  They have seven combined receiving touchdowns so far. Staying with the duel threat, Odell Beckham Jr ($5800) and Jarvis Landry ($5100) are solid plays. They should be playing behind against the Cowboys giving the Cleveland Browns passing game a chance to kick it in high gear against a defense that has allowed 32.3 points against a game. Looking for bargain value? DeVante Parker ($5700) and counterpart Preston Williams ($4500) have a great opportunity here as long as Ryan Fitzpatrick does not mess it up! Again the Dolphins should be trailing, which could lead to potentially a lot of “fantasy garbage time” as the Seahawks have allowed over 430 passing yards per game.

TIGHT ENDS

Mark Andrews ($6800) plays the Washington Football Team who are just terrible so far. The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a poor performance against the Kansas City Chiefs.  Andrews should benefit playing a defense that has given up an average of one TD against opposing  Tight Ends through the first three games of the season. Another nice option is Dalton Schultz, ($4300) gives us great value in one of the highest scoring predicted games of the week.  In addition to him being targeted 16 times over the last two games, the Browns have given up 22 catches to opposing Tight Ends through three games.

DST

Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($3400), are my my top play of the week. They have been solid against the run, only giving up 70 yards a game. Their line has produced pressures on quarterbacks, recording 12 sacks to go along with four interceptions. If you are looking for a cheaper option, the Houston Texans, ($2500) could be the option. Playing against Kirk Cousins, who has thrown six interceptions could exactly be what the Doctor prescribes for the Texans defense to right the ship. Its definitely worth a shot at the price!

Final Thoughts….

Remember these are just some suggested plays and you will not be able to get them into all of your lineups. Grab a few players you like, sprinkle in some consistent performers and that’s the recipe for building successful lineups on DRAFTKINGS. Good luck all in week four!
