I will provide some plays that I will be using for the classic nine-player roster build for the Sunday Main Slate Week 16.

First up is Patrick Mahomes ($8500) playing the Atlanta Falcons. Not much has to be said for Mahomes, as the Falcons allow over 300 passing yards a game and 25 points against. Additionally, Mahomes is scoring almost 28 a game and will have a shot at the #1 QB on the slate.

Next will be Ben Roethlisberger ($6400) playing at home versus the Colts. Ben has been a better QB in terms of scoring while at home. He has thrown 15 TDs and only three interceptions at Heinz field. The Colts come to town in a big AFC game, where the Steelers will try and bounce back after a few bad weeks. The Colts rank 23rd against opposing QBs and Big Ben has averaged over 20 FPPG at home.

Again, another bounce-back player who should be in a lot of lineups this week is Jared Goff ($5900). Usually going on the road this time a year is not a good thing, but Goff and the Rams offense has excelled. He has thrown 14 of his 20 TDs on the year as the visitor and has averaged over 300 passing yards a game. During this time, he also scores an average of 24 FPPG. Seattle ranks 31st vs QBs.

We lose Derrick Henry on the Sunday Main Slate, so I am using David Montgomery ($7700) as my #1 RB. He comes with an expensive salary but has proven it is worth it over the previous four weeks scoring over 27 FPPG. The Jaguars come in ranked 30th vs RBs and have been allowing the third-most yards per game at 146.5.

Next is the Washington Football Team backfield, with Antonio Gibson ($6600) and J.D. McKissic ($6400) drawing the 29th ranked defense in the Panthers. Carolina is allowing 120 rushing yards a game as well as 25 PPG. The big question here is the injuries. If Gibson plays I may shy away a bit from this tandem. However, if he is out, then McKissic will be in a lot of my lineups.

Now we have J.K. Dobbins ($6200) facing the 25th ranked New York Giants in Baltimore. I am a little nervous about this play, as the Ravens will just not allow Dobbins to get the volume he needs to have a big day. Furthermore, he has scored in four straight matches and will look to find the end zone again here in Week 16.

Finally, let’s talk about the Kansas City Chiefs running back situation. With Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($6000) listed as doubtful, I will have some exposure to Le’Veon Bell ($5800) as the Falcons rank 23rd. When Bell took over the duties in Week 15, he had 16 touches and will continue to see the volume in Week 16.

Even with his enormous salary, Tyreek Hill ($9000) is an interesting stack option with Mahomes. Again, we will be picking on this 32nd ranked defense in the Falcons. They have trouble guarding WRs and Hills speed will cause major issues. However, the problem with this stack is that it takes 35% of your salary. This means you need both plays to hit as they did in Week 12 when they combined for almost 100 points against Tampa Bay!

Next, we have the duo in Los Angeles, with Robert Woods ($7000) and Cooper Kupp ($6600). Like I said above for Goff, this Rams team looks top-notch as the road team. For instance, Woods has seven of his eight TDs as the visitor and has scored an average of 20.6 points! Kupp does not have the same amount of TDs as Woods, but does score an average of 18 FPPG! Fire both of these receivers up in your lineups on Sunday!

Stacking Diontae Johnson ($6300) with Ben is an under the radar play vs the Colts in Week 16. Johnson, even with the case of the “drops” has been a target hog all year. Ben continues to look for Johnson regularly, averaging just under ten a game on the year. Additionally, Johnson has scored an average of 15 FPPG.

Lastly here are some cheaper value plays that I will be potentially using for the Sunday Main Slate: Sammy Watkins ($5000), Rashard Higgins ($4800), Tee Higgins ($4700), Jamison Crowder ($4500), and Darnell Mooney at ($4000).

Travis Kelce ($8500) is the most expensive TE on the slate and so he should be. Kelce is 4th in the league with 98 receptions amongst all pass catchers! Furthermore, he is scoring 22 points a game and the Falcons are ranked 26th vs TEs. The trick is building a lineup with him and Mahomes!

You have to consider Logan Thomas ($4900) as an option here in Week 16. No, it is not just because of last week’s production (13 for 101 yards) but all year he has been a focal point of this offense. Also, Thomas has the third-most targets and receptions amongst TEs. The Panthers are giving up the 25th most points to TEs.

On the cheaper side of things, Austin Hooper ($3500) has a nice matchup against the lowly ranked New York Jets. The Jets are dead last when it comes to guarding the TEs, and Hooper has scored twice in his last three games. The Jets have been stingy against the run, so look for the Browns to chuck it more as they allow almost 300 yards a game.

For DST this week, the Ravens ($4000) are the top play at home against the Giants. Additionally, we have the Browns ($3700) playing the Jets and the Bears ($3600) in Jacksonville. All will have high ownership.

For a few cheaper options, WFT ($3000) and the Texans($2800) are two that will be used based on roster construction.
