We have had some big stories this week with Covid ripping through Tennessee and Bill O’Brien being fired. Thankfully though we have got another big weekend of NFL action to sink our teeth into. Not only that it is looking like we will have a Monday night double header and Tuesday night football. Firstly, we have got a delightful double for Sundays games at a juicy 5/2 price.

Carolina Panthers vs Atlanta Falcons

The Panthers are starting to look like a solid team who can put up plenty of points. They are currently sitting at 2-2 after losing their first two games against the Raiders and the Bucs. Since then they have beaten the Chargers and the Cardinals last Sunday to show they are getting better. Teddy Bridgewater is in his first year with the Panthers and is showing the consistency we expected. He has passed for 1,148 yards and four touchdowns but has also thrown three interceptions. Bridgewater has never been spectacular but he is solid and will provide a solid base for the Panthers this season.

There was serious worry for the Panthers when they were 0-2 and lost Christian McCaffery to injury. The star running back is set to be out for 2-4 more weeks but they have done well without him. Bridgewater has also got some great options in D.J Moore, Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel. Defensively the Panthers are not the strongest and have given up 25 points on average over the first four games.

The Atlanta Falcons have had a poor start to the season but also an eventful one. They have had two huge losses against the Cowboys and the Bears having been along way ahead in each game. Not only that but they currently sit at 0-4 so far and are looking like a struggling team. There defense has been decimated and have given up around 34 points in each game. Injuries are stacking up and they are going to find it hard to turn this year around.

Matt Ryan is performing ok but not as good as he can. He only has a completion percentage of 64 but he has thrown for 1,246 yards and seven touchdowns. Julio Jones has been quiet for him but he is struggling with injuries and he may miss this game. Calvin Ridley has been the standout for the Falcons. With him and Russell Gage the Falcons do pose a threat. Todd Gurley is another star player who doesn’t look as good as he did but he is providing a decent running game. Both teams look good to score points and both defenses look like they will give them up.

The Bet : over 53.5 total points in the game at 10/11

Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Raiders have had a solid start to the season sitting at 2-2 this year. They had a great start going 2-0 after wins against the Panthers and the Saints. Unfortunately, for the Raiders they have had two losses since against the Patriots and the Bills. However, they are some tough teams that the Raiders have played and 2-2 is not a bad effort. Derek Carr has looked good this year with 1,095 yards, eight touchdowns and zero interceptions. There most potent weapon is the run game with Josh Jacobs looking like high end running back. He has run for 300 yards and three touchdowns and he will continue to do well.

Carr has also got some good receiving weapons with Henry Ruggs, Hunter Renfrow and tight end Darren Waller. Defensively the Raiders are not the best and do give up points but are also not the worst. On average they have given up 30 points a game this season and now they are going up against Kansas City. This game is probably going to be too much for them to win but they will put up points against the Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs are doing everything they need to do to win their games. They have not been amazing but have won all four of their games and look like they will keep it going this week. Patrick Mahomes is looking great and has passed for 1,134 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first four games. He has so many weapons on the offense and he doesn’t need them all to be on fire in order to win. Travis Kelce is looking as potent as ever at tight end and has had 297 yards with two touchdowns ranking him the second best at his position.

Along with Kelce the Chiefs have got Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman and  DeMarcus Robinson as good receiving options. Also with Clyde Edwards-Helaire at running back the Chiefs have got potent weapons in all areas. Defensively, the Chiefs are looking very good and are going to be hard to get past. They haven’t given up more than 20 points in any games so far but the Raiders do score points. Both teams can score points and are capable of big plays. There is a chance that, as it is a divisional matchup, both teams will play well and points will be scored.

The Bet : over 55.5 total points in the game at 10/11

If you back both bets in a double then you will get just over 5/2!!
