Chargers Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. joins the show

From undrafted rookie to All-Pro corner, Chris Harris Jr. has had quite the career in the NFL.

Before he was a Los Angeles Chargers defensive back, Chris Harris Jr. played for division rival Denver Broncos. Over his 10-year career, Harris has made four Pro Bowls, three All-Pro teams, a PFWA All-Rookie Team, and NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. Harris was a key member of a Broncos defensive dynasty that helped them win Super Bowl 50.

Harris joined the Chargers last offseason on a 2-year, $20 million-dollar contract. He had offers from multiple teams, but his relationship with Chargers’ defensive back coach Ron Milus and the opportunity to join a star-studded defense ultimately won out.

Unfortunately, Harris awkwardly twisted his foot Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers that landed him on short-term injured reserve.

On Twitter, Harris announced he will make a return against the Buffalo Bills next week.

What great timing for Harris to join the show! He talks about his rehab and how he has been able to support the team while he’s been injured. You can find out what Harris thinks about rookie phenom Justin Herbert. Harris also talks about matching up with Keenen Allen and why as a corner it’s so hard guarding one of the league’s most elite receivers.
