The Chicago Bears will travel too Atlanta Sunday and face Matt Ryan and a high scoring offense. Does Chicago have what it takes to go toe to toe with them?

The Chicago Bears will take there somewhat unpredictable offense on the road this Sunday, hoping to match up against the Falcons. This won’t be an easy task as the Bears offense can stall at times, and make mistakes at inopportune moments. If they hope to have a chance in Atlanta they will have to continue to move the ball. Keeping Matt Ryan off the field and the defense fresh will be one of the keys to the game Sunday.

The Bears defense will have to do some heavy lifting come Sunday

It’s no secret what the strength is of this Bears team. They will most likely live and die by how there defense performs week in and week out. So far they have been up to the task as they are allowing 18 points per game, and only three touchdowns on the season. They had four sacks on quarterback Daniel Jones, and forced two turnovers, some would say it should have been three. If they hope to keep the Falcons offense out of the endzone, they will have to have a similar performance. If they can continue to play there patented bend don’t break defense, and force the Atlanta offense to three and outs, it will put the odds in Chicago’s favor.

Bears CBs against Falcons receivers will be a battle sure to please

You can’t look at Atlanta’s receivers and not be a little concerned on Sunday. They have one of the best in the game with Julio Jones, and Calvin Ridley who has emerged as a threat you have to now pay attention to. This could be one of the best wide receiver duos at the end of the season. Chicago will come in and hope to have an answer with Corner Backs Kyle Fuller and rookie Jaylon Johnson. Watching these four battle it out should certainly make for a fun Sunday.

Can the Chicago offense put points up on a suspect defense?

While the Falcons offense has the weapons to put some fear in an opposing defense. The same isn’t as true on the other side of the ball. Atlanta is coming in having given up 38 points to the Seattle Seahawks and 40 points against the Dallas Cowboys. While its early in the season, those numbers aren’t getting the job done in Atlanta. The Chicago offense on the other hand isn’t going to worry many defenses at this point in the season either. Costly turnovers and drops by receivers have made games much closer for the Bears than they needed to be. They will have to play a mistake free game and continue to execute against a shaky defense if they have any hopes of leaving Atlanta 3-0.

The difference between 3-0 and 0-3

The Atlanta Falcons have come off back to back losses to start the season. They have lost those games by a total of 14 points. The Falcons will without a doubt be coming out with something to prove and will be looking to gain momentum fast. They are a much better team than there 0-2 record shows. For the Chicago Bears its a little bit of the opposite. They are 2-0 but could just as easily be 0-2. They have won their games by a combined 8 points so far this season. Chicago will be facing a hungry team looking for there first win of the season. For Chicago to get to 3-0 they will have to play a disciplined and mistake free game. Both teams will have to want it Sunday, because if not things could get ugly.
