Lane Johnson questionable for Sunday

News broke recently that Philadelphia Eagles tackle Lane Johnson has been battling a “lower body injury”. A few big names ended up on the Injury report. The star right tackle has been working tremendously hard to bulk up for the 2020 campaign. When asked during a press conference today, Doug Pederson couldn’t give a clear answer on Lane Johnson’s status for this Sunday against Washington.

Despite the Eagles recent injuries, Lane Johnson was spotted practicing in full pads during the offensive line installment. This is obviously a great sight for Philadelphia Eagles fans heading into week 1. Besides, the Eagles are already really thin on the offensive line with the injury that Brandon Brooks suffered early on. Fans and the team both will have high hopes to see Lane Johnson suit up on Sunday. If Lane Johnson isn’t able to play Sunday the team could be in trouble. Philly would have to resort to inexperience at the position.

Miles Sanders shockingly not traveling with team to Washington

After a lot of anticipation for Miles Sanders to suit up on Sunday, the news broke that he would not be traveling with the team this Sunday due to his hamstring injury. Miles has been day to day on the injury report with a hamstring injury. The backfield will probably be a healthy mix of Corey Clement and Boston Scott. Many are excited to see a healthy Corey Clement back on the field. He has had a solid camp and seems to be back to his 2017 form. The Wisconsin product also can add an edge in the pass-blocking department.

Jalen Reagor might be ready to go for week 1?

Thankfully, it’s looking like Jalen Reagor could make his debut against the Washington Football Team this Sunday. The Rookie wide receiver out of Texas Christian University looks like he might be ready sooner than expected.

Derek Barnett and Javon Hargrave on the injury report

The Eagles are without a couple pieces on the defensive line this week. Both Derek Barnett and Javon Hargrave are officially ruled out. Although for a few injuries, we hope to see some Josh sweat action this week. One thing that the Eagles have learned is the next man up mentality. A really exciting piece to watch this week is the duo between Malik Jackson and Fletcher Cox.

The Eagles have a number of starters who are injured this week and this will be a “next man up” type of week. We have some familiar faces stepping up to the plate today. Should be interesting to see the approach.
